Can I play Dragons Lair with DL2 machine?

I am trying to figure out why my Dragons Lair version is not playing on my DL2 machine with Dexter. I thought they originally released both Dragon's lair and Space Ace Version discs compatible with DL2 machines if I am not mistaken.

The Dexter software loads and game goes to attract sequence then plays by itself.

What versions Dexter recoded software plays with DL 2 machines?

You can't play the original Dragon's Lair on DL2 game hardware. It only plays DL2 and Space Ace '91.

To play Space Ace '91, you need a different ROM chip for your game PCB, and the Space Ace '91 laserdisc image file for Dexter. (The 1983 disc is not compatible.)
