The Scoop
In order to make Daphne as easy to use as possible, we've made a deal with the company that holds the copyrights to several laserdisc games. This company is called Digital Leisure. They sell several DVD's that let you play some laserdisc games on a DVD player (or on a PC with a DVD drive).
Digital Leisure has said that Daphne can auto-download everything needed to play the games they hold the copyrights to as long as people like yourself can prove that you own a Digital Leisure DVD. So Daphne will ask you to insert a DVD to prove that you own it.
Auto-downloadable Games
The Digital Leisure games that Daphne will automatically download are:
- Dragon's Lair
- Dragon's Lair 2
- Space Ace
- Thayer's Quest
Which DVD's To Buy?
You can buy these games on Ebay, in some retail stores, and directly from Digital Leisure. Digital Leisure marks some games as Playstation 2 or XBox compatible, which basically just means that they will play in any DVD player.
