I just posted a message to the ALG forever board about artwork for a LD game, how about this - Space Ace 2 - Time Warp! - Ace while taking Star Pac for a spin, accidently crashes into a black sphere which is actally a time warp! Ace is transported back to a time of valiant knights, where he meets a brave adventurer named Dirk. Together they must escape a mysterious castle of an evil wizard! Can Ace get Dirk to speak? Will Daphne and Kimberley fall out about hair colour? Only you can control this and more exciting events - Do it for the children!
Get Ace back to Star Pac and back into space before he's lost forever in -The Time Warp! -
I can see it now -
Ace - "Dirk old buddy you don't say much do you?"
Dirk - "aaaargh, ooooh"
Ace - "Oh far out."
It's got winner all over it don't you think?!!

Ahemm...and where are you expecting to find the necessary footage for this game? Are you going to animate a 30min video?

I think copyrights, time and stuff would make it a non starter anyway.

Ya copyrights would kill the deal from the start. But nothing is preventing you from making original characters and doing some kind of story.
