I was only about 5 when Dragons Lair was released in the arcades, so I don’t have any memories of playing it at all. I can remember seeing the game in an arcade, and I can remember the 'wow' factor it created. It must have stayed with me because I purchased Dragons Lair on my Snes many years later. Not quite the same thing but there you go.

I knew the DVD versions of the game existed but was never really interested in playing the game with a remote, and suspected they might suffer from bad load times.

Either way, I’m really impressed by this emulator and all the hard work that’s gone into it. I had no idea there were so many Laser Disc games made in the early eighties. So, this isn't a post about not being able to get a game to work, or a ROM begging exercise; just a thanks very much. Now i know what i was missing. I can’t think of a more frustrating but rewarding game to play. Now to get it running in my MAME Cabinet and not just on the PC and I’m away!

Yeah Matt, you guys ROCK !!! :D

After almost 6 years of wanting another Space Ace I have FINALLY finished my Daphne/Space Ace in a cab, with all artwork and so on, all that's missing are Marquee brackets, but I now have a Space Ace in my front room and can't believe it.

If it were not for Daphne, I'd be still looking.

So BIG thanks to all involved :D

Steve
