Mach 3 help need (My most fav game plz help)

Got this in log file.....

Tried disabling rom crc check but still no go,,,any help would be great..ty
BTW tried 2 sets of roms and got the same from both....

You don't have the proper files to play this game. Daphne does not come with everything. You need to supply some things like rom images, mpeg file(s) and framefile. You can get the rom images from www.d-l-p.com

Well if yiou read the bottom of the post I wrote that I had tried 2 different rom sets....But anyway I got it to work.seems wierd but I changed the rom folder name from "mach" to "mach3" and It worked.Do the rom folders have to be named same as vid folders?

No. But they do need to be named what Daphne expects them to be named. It says in the error log where it is looking for them.

Loading ./roms/mach3/m3rom4.bin ... 0 bytes read into memory

Either has to be in a folder of this name or it can be in a zip file with this name.

I have downloaded these roms along with 2-3 other sets and all of them report

m3target.bin is wrong crc... any help would be appreciated.

After spending hours trying to get it to work last night, I gave up.

However, this morning after a couple of minutes and refreshed from a nice sleep, I noticed the disable crc check in the daphne loader. Anyhow, it now works.

Disabling the CRC check isn't a solution to the problem. The problem is you have an obsolete m3target.bin file.

Thanks for the info. Can you share what the file date and file size is for the working rom? Its not available on the DLP site and I know not to ask for info their.

I used the Mach 3 roms for Mame and those worked for me!
