Please help. I have converted my Dragon's Lair DVD to 389 .VOB files. They are in the C:\Daphne\DLDVDROM folder.

I used the Daphne Loader and configured the
PLAYER TYPE: Virtual LDP (MPEG/Ogg)
MPEG File Location: C:\Daphne\DLDVDROM\dls01.vob.m2v
I had it generate a framefile that looks like this:

C:\Daphne\DLDVDROM\
dls01.vob.m2v

Here is the Daphne_Log file:

--DAPHNE version 0.99.7
--Command line is: C:\Daphne\daphne.exe seektest vldp -preset 0 -framefile C:\Daphne\framefile.txt -fullscreen
--CPU : AuthenticAMD 1000 MHz || Mem : 960 megs
--OS : Windows XP/.NET || Video : ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series
Set 640x480 at 32 bpp with flags: 80000001
Initializing sound system ...
No joysticks detected
Framefile Parse Error
Expected a number followed by a string, but on line 2, found this: dls01.vob.m2v(0x20 0x20 0x64 0x6C 0x73 0x30 0x31 0x2E 0x76 0x6F 0x62 0x2E 0x6D 0x32 0x76 )
Mpeg Path : C:/Daphne/DLDVDROM/
---BEGIN FRAMEFILE CONTENTS---
C:\Daphne\DLDVDROM\
dls01.vob.m2v

---END FRAMEFILE CONTENTS---
You must specify a -framefile argument when using VLDP.
If you didn't, then this is the problem. :)
Could not initialize laserdisc player!
Shutting down sound system...
Shutting down video display...

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance;
Mark Williams

DaphneLoader's framefile creator is broken. If you want to make your own framefile, use this tool. Or if you don't want to create your own framefile, use the one dvd2daph provides for you.

I tried to use the Framefile Wizard, but I couldn't figure it out.

In Step 1 I pointed it to: C:\Daphne\DLDVDROM

But I have almost 400 Video Files. Which .VOB file do I use, and what FRAME should I start it on?

What is the name of the framefile that comes with DVD2Daph?

I'm sorry for these stupid questions, but I have been trying to get this going for a week now on my own, and I can't figure out what I am missing.

Thanks Again,
Mark

since you are using dvd2daph files, just use the framefile dvd2daph creates for you. You'll have a lot of work to do if you attempt to reconstruct it, and you'll need a laserdisc for comparison in order to get it right.
