Hi everyone..

First of all I apologize for my bad english.. I hope you'll get my point..

I'm trying to make some laser game work.. But nothing seems to work properly..

I made a quick search in the past threads but I did'n find a solution.. If there is already something that could help me.. Please redirect me there..

Timewarp

--DAPHNE version 0.99.7
--Command line is: C:\LaserGames\daphne.exe seektest vldp -framefile C:\LaserGames\Dl2\framefiledl2.txt
--CPU : GenuineIntel 2600 MHz || Mem : 1024 megs
--OS : Windows XP/.NET || Video : Tornado GeForce4 MX 440
Set 640x480 at 32 bpp with flags: 0
Initializing sound system ...
No joysticks detected
Remapping input ...
Framefile parse succeeded. Video/Audio directory is: C:/LaserGames/Dl2/./
LDP-VLDP ERROR : first video file could not be opened!
Could not initialize laserdisc player!
Shutting down sound system...
Shutting down video display...

-----------------------------------------------------

Esh's aurunmilla:

I can't interact with the game.. I type the right key but I die immediately.. At the first move.. While trying to enter in that sort of ship-asteroid.. And I don't see the death's scene.. The game starts back from the beginning..

Or: I move right while don davis' ship appears.. then I find in front of of entrances.. But I can't move and I see all the death scenes of the 1st stage..

Before the game loads I get this message:

This game's emulation has known problems. Game can be completed, but driver is very immature. Various video/sounds problems.
-----------------------------------------------

Could please someone help me??

Thank you

Regards..

This issue has come up several times in this forum, specifically the issue of syntax within the commandline. Look at the bolded area of your quoted sentence/log file - you are declaring the name seektest instead of the name of a game.

I disabled it and now this error occurs:
