Is there any way to change which joystick Daphne uses? I have a cabinet and my main controller is set to ID#4. Daphne only seems to open Joystick #0.

Thanks in advance

There isn't a way to do it without modifying the source code.

I've tried adjusting the keycodes for my joystick (X-Arcade) in the daphneloader program however it does not follow through to the Dragon Lair games.

for example, my credit buttons should be 3 and 4 not the daphne default 5 & 6. I tried making the changes in the daphneloader but there seems to be no change.

I located the file dapinput.ini in ~/.daphne but I am unfamiliar with the numeric values being used.

Also, if this makes a difference this is running on a Linux machine with Fedora 8 and daphne version 1.0.0

You should consult the Daphne-WIKI concerning the meaning of the numeric codes, it's right at the main portal of this site.

actually I found it last night while reading through the sources. See my post in the new topics area, I noted that the dapinput.ini file is not read by the daphne program and as such the default keycodes are used regardless of what you tell daphneloader to use.

So if we use the Key List, and Escape (exit game) is:

ESCAPE = 27

How would we code this in the Daphne Config screen to act as, lets say in my case, Joystick Button #19 (on a GP-Wiz controller)?

KeytoJoy version 3.7.4 worked for me! I hope this will help everyone out.
