When I launch daphne.exe from the command line, everything works great, but the command line comes right back.

Is there a way to have the daphne.exe to lock the command line until the user exists?

The reason for this is for frontends so they know when daphne is quit. (so they can turn off music, keep statistics on how long you play, ect).

Thanks!

This sounds like a problem with the frontend, not with daphne.exe.
DaphneLoader knows when Daphne.exe has exited, and it waits for it to exit.

Not really... try it... Start a game, tab out and you will see daphneloader ready to launch a second time (I dont' recommend it :) )

But a better test is to run daphne.exe from the command line, and it comes back to the command line right away, as the emulation starts in another window.

It wouldn't be too hard to write a startup script in Linux that logs the PID of forked Daphne process and monitors it until it shuts down. Then you could just call the script from the frontend.

Not sure if you can do that in Windows though.
