I remember the first time I ever saw Dragon's Lair, at a Chuck E. Cheese, the summer after I saw The Secret of NIMH, and I was enthralled, and have been ever since with the Bluth/Dyer games. Readysoft and Digital Leisure helped bridge the gap between the original Arcade and home users, but Daphne's given us the ability to play the *real* thing, and if you're lucky, in a *real* cabinet, something I definately plan on doing.

Thanks for the hard work guys, it's probably been tough going but it's worth it.

As Michael Rye states in Dragon's Lair: Lead On Adventurer, Your Quest Awaits!

I am unsure if this is allowed, but I built Space Ace and Dragon's Lair cabinets from the ground up (based on Daphne) and I have all the plans needed to build them, so if you require them shoot me a e-mail

I thought I'd post my thanks here too if thats OK.
I only ever played Dragon's Lair a couple of times due to only being given about £1 at a time to spend in the arcade! That would have given me 2 plays (or 10 on Donkey Kong)! I used to watch older kids winding money into DL and Space Ace  The only version I played is the ZX Spectrum port LMAO, not quite the same experience :D It was great to play the original for the first time tonight on my MAME cabinet.
A big thanks to all invoved.

I used jakobud's info and though it is lacking in some area's, if you have all the parts you should be able to figure out some of the blocking dimensions from that.

good luck, I could never get ahold of any other measurements and mine came out pretty darn good.
