I want to integrate daphne into the j5 viewer for the controls.dat project.

The keymappings are all out in the open in the dainput.ini and easy to parse. My only problem is that I don't recognize the scancode/keycode/whatever format that daphne uses.

Could one of you developer types help me with a link to a chart or something?

The keycodes are from SDL. I believe they are supposed to be universal across international keyboards.

That helps a lot, thanks.

So "standard" keys are ascii then and keys traditionally not covered by ascii are a custom range.
