Hey all,

First post but I've been a long time fan of Daphne! My hats off to the developers one and all... They really do deserve all the support we can provide them.

I'm what you might say call a 'wanna-be developer' I've been teaching myself Cocoa (an OS X development environment) and I'm ready to show some screenshots of my unofficial OS X frontend I've been working on for the past couple of weeks.

Instead of including them directly into this message I'll just link to them since some of them are kinda big.

It's still very much a work in progress but I wanted to hear what you guys thought of the work so far...

Dave

Hi Dave, great work!
I have a PB-G4 and could help with alpha and beta-testing, if needed.
cheers, Torsten

Dave,

Looks absolutely terrific!

This will really make Daphne on OS X usable for many more people. I've been running various official and CVS builds on OS X for some time now, but the only front-end I've seen for OS X has been Dirk.

Unfortunately, I don't think Dirk ever made it much past the alpha or early beta stage. It looked nice, and had basic support but was never really developed much that I know of.

If you'd like any help beta testing this, please let me know. I'd love to get a copy of it to start playing around with.

- Jon

Looks really good, Dave!!! I hope the alpha and beta tests go well, so we "Mac Heads" can join in the fun, too! :)
I'm a Mac user of 3 1/2 years now, and I am awaiting success in running Daphne in any Mac.

Jodi
