Cool, I never knew it was supposed to be a sequel to Voltron.

Voltron ruled!

Imagine, a Sega game that never even made it to the arcades emulated in Daphne...
Unfortunately, I think the ROMs would be harder to obtain, if they even exist at all (?)
Matt - I'd be willing to get this for Daphne if you think it's worth it. Hurry! :)

Gyrovision - I wouldn't worry about getting the disc unless you want it for yourself. Don't be fooled by the auction description, as this disc is actually quite common. The discs were produced but the arcade never was, so of course there are lots of unused NOS discs out there. In fact, all discs were never used in an arcade. :)

Actually I already have an Albegas disc, Gyro hehehe. I am not sure that they are as rare as the seller is advertising. (I think he is trying to drive his own price up hehe). I don't think any ROMs exist, so there really is no game to emulate. Doh well.

From looking at the footage (those who have seen it), how difficult would it be to try and assemble this as a game? I'm not speaking about the programming side of things - just gameplay.

I have only watched it about twice, but it looked like an Astron Belt styled game, which I never thought worked too well anyway :)

In other words, it seems like it would be kind of hard to make a game out of it.

Ohhh.... Is it like Astron Belt in regards to it being just background scenery with graphics overlayed on top?

yup, it was the unreleased 3rd installment of the trilogy. Astron Belt, Galaxy Ranger, and Albegas. So, the disc is nothing but background footage.
