Hi,

I have started an independent game company, and I want to make FMV games, particularly live-action interactive movies. Shooting the footage is no problem. However, I do not know how to code the game. What program or application should I use? I know a little C, but that's about it. Is Multimedia Fusion any good? What's seektest? I saw it mentioned several times in conjunction with the programming serach results for this forum. I'd appreciate any help any one has to offer. Thank you.

The best option to create an FMV game, IMO, is to code the game natively in daphne. Daphne's seektest function was basically coded as a new "game". If you take a look at how it's structured, that should get you started.

To Chip or anybody else,

OK. I have made some modifications to seektest. This may sound stupid, but how do I test it out? Do I compile it somehow? And when it is ready, what do I type in the command line when I try to run Daphne?

Thanks!
