I have captured both my Dragon's Lair and Space Ace ld's and both experience this weird problem. After starting the intro when the game starts up they both play a little bit and then start over at the beginning. Dragons lair will restart right after the sword cuts through to the castle scene and Space Ace restarts when Borf starts talking. After they do that once the intro plays through after that with no problem at all. Any ideas?

this is normal. read the docs for more info on the original DL and SA boot sequence.

Heh. It doesn't happen on my converted DVD version. Most likely because as the game boots up and plays through the compelation of still images, the LD continues to play into the beginning of the intro scene. Which can't happen when the video is in multiple files. Yay! A case where split files are better.
