OK, Thank you.
I can start fullscreen mode in the terminal :
In terminal I go to the daphne folder and type
./daphne lair noldp -fullscreen

It work.

but how can I configure daphne with the command line (frame file loctation, m2v,...)

I have to edit the file DaphneLoaderInfo.ini or another file ??
Is there a doc on how to configure daphne in command line ???

Thank you very much.

sebastieng, use the -framefile command as well. Try this command line:

daphne lair vldp -framefile "(path to your framefile)\lairframefile.txt" -fullscreen

Although I'm intrigued by the fact that 'noldp' works at all, you should be using the Virtual Laserdisc Player (vldp).

Cougar, the command line is also known as the MS-DOS prompt. You can also create batch files for the same purpose to use these commands.

Hallo,
I have try the command line on osx panther :
./daphne ace vldp -framefile /Volumes/Film/Daphne/daphne/framefile/ace.txt -fullscreen

Space ace started good but the full screen goes white, the games play, I can ear the music but the screen switch to white and stay white.

I have a G4 with osx panther and ati radeon 8500.

Can you help me to get daphne on full screen ?

Thank you

OK, I have the solution.
I have to disable the graphic acceleration with the option -nohwaccel.
It work perfectly on my g4 dual 450 MHZ.
Thanks

I just can't seem to get Daphne to work properly. All is fine with the mpegs, framefiles, etc... & Daphne actually runs. However, all I get when the game starts is choppy video. The audio runs great, but when I insert coins and start a game I just get the first frame of the each mpeg file then it freezes (just the video). The audio runs smooth throughout.

Daphne 0.99.6pre4 works better than 0.99.7. Dirk doesn't work at all for me. It runs but when you try and actually start the game it just reloads the same screen.

MAME & all games work great!

Mac G4 Quicksilver (1st Model) 733Mhz, 768M RAM

Puzzled?...

It may be because hardware acceleration was working (I think) in 0.99.6pre4, but no longer works in 0.99.7 for unknown reasons. THis is just a theory.

Unfortunately, I currently do not have a mac to do development on, so I can't fix this.

Yes thanks matt. I installed .6pre4 and it seems to work better than .7 I also realized that it's partially my 733Mhz G4. It is quite old at this point. I have 768M RAM and the Nvidia GeForce2 MX-32M and have to run Daphne by itself with no other apps running. Then i still get a very slight amount of chop in the games. I am running off a new hard drive.

Oh well, the games are playable so it's cool.

peace out
