I'm using Digital Leisure DVD-Video and converted it using vid2daph and subsequently dvd2daph. OK. I then configure DAPHNE to use lair_dvdrom.txt for the framefile (it is in the same directory as digital files). Game parses and plays great.

Some questions:
1. How do I get it to play full screen--or is it only supported 640x480?
2. on the falling platform, I am timing it perfectly--no dice. Help please?
3. On the reaper / living thornes, I can always get through the spinning balls by pressing up at any time. I remember the arcade there being timing by pressing up when Dirk is crouched.
4. Lava Men scene, I remember pressing Up after using the Sword, but it doesn't work. Help?
5. How do I get support for the scoring if I decide to place in a cabinet?

If the above are newbie questions, I apologize. I'm new to DAPHNE.
All in all, this is THE best version of DL I've played!! Bravo.

add the -fullscreen switch to the Command line or if you are using daphneloader put a check in the box for fullscreen

Thanks for the information. The latency feature allowed me to survive all of the scenes I was having problems.

Also, I found the support for the scoreboard in DaphneLoader (MPEG overlay, LPTx). Thanks for not flaming a newbie :0)
