Hi all,

I created a small web page that explains why the move beeps are louder than the game audio when using a DVD-2-Daph conversion and how to fix it properly:

http://krusty.freewebsitehosting.com/dlsadvd/index.htm

I hope some of you find this useful, it's time-consuming but it worked really well for me 8)

Thanks to the Daphne development team for a wonderful emulator.

Regards,

Krusty.

great tutorial Krusty! Thanks. dvd2daph does normalize the files so that they're all consistent (otherwise some scenes are a different volume than others) but I never knew about that peak. I'll investigate automating the process.

No worries Vera ... Thanks for DVD-2-Daph, it's brought back many wonderful memories from these games. :)

ahh.. I wonder if the "spike" of garbage at the beginning of each audio clip is because the AC3 audio extraction isn't clean?
