Good news! I received a copy of the Dragon's Lair 20th Anniversary DVD box set yesterday (directly from Digital Leisure).
I'm really glad I decided to get it, as I am also getting ready to make some upgrades that should make downloading DAPHNE a lot easier.
Soon I will be upgrading from a PowerPC-based iMac to an Intel-based iMac. In addition, I will be getting a copy of Windows XP as well as downloading "Boot Camp" from www.apple.com/bootcamp.
Downloading the DAPHNE Universal Binary for Macintosh is simple enough......it's the dvd2daph part that's the real bugger! The new Intel-based Mac, coupled with Windows XP, will allow me to do the whole nine yards without the need for Virtual PC.
Now all this isn't going to happen tomorrow or next week or even next month.....but I might be running DAPHNE (for the first time) by the end of the year.
