Hello all....I am finally rediscovering my love for Dragon's Lair and Space Ace....

I just received my copy of the 20th Anniversary edition. It seems fate has tossed me a curveball, and I ended up with a CD-Rom edition on four CDs.

DVD2DAPH is not willing to do the trick, as you can imagine....it isn't detecting a DVD in the drive...I tried the older version they had on the site that was for the Deluxe CD version.....that didn't do the trick cause it is the 20th Anniv edition, not the Deluxe....so now it seems I am up the preverbial creek....

Any thoughts or ideas that can get these working for me?

I know I can play them under windows, and that is fine and good....but I built an arcade cabinet and would REALLY LOVE to play DL and SA using Daphne and the real arcade controls.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer

I'm not sure if DVD2DAPH works with the CDRom version.

I would suggest you visit the Daphne chat room and while you are there you could follow the links at the top of the page and download the newer beta version of Daphne. It has some features that could help you get Dragon's Lair and Space Ace working as long as you have an original Digital Leisure disc in your drive.

Also, there are many people who visit the chatroom on a regular basis that could answer any questions you might have.

It doesn't. You should really just get the dvds. Especially in a cabinet, you won't be happy with the video quality from the cd-roms.
