i heard this rumor a long time ago that back in the mid-80's, there was supposed to be a very cool, dark live-action film version of DL. does anyone know the specifics on it (ie. who would have directed it/starred in it)? nowadays with all of the LORD OF THE RINGS lore and such going on in theaters, combined with the retro 80's comebacks, i wonder if they'd ever re-attempt the film idea again. |
