Hey guys. Soon I will be attempting to get DVD2Daph going, but what version do I need. On digital leisure website they have the cdrom version of the 20th anniversay. I know I don't won't that one. Do I need the 20th anniversary DVD-Video Version located here: http://www.digitalleisure.com/contents/ ... _games.htm Is that the one I want on the top of the page. The DVD-Video version of the 20th anniversary?? Will that be the one that works with DVD2Daph. I am also interested in Thayers Quest and that Shadoan. Will DVD2Daph convert those DVD-Video versions as well??? |

The best version is the DVD-Video version. DVD2Daph will not convert Thayer's Quest or Shadoan... However..if you get the TQ DVD it will allow you to be able to play TQ in Daphne. If you have further questions..feel free to stop by the Daphne chat room. |

Thanks. I guess I will be getting the 20th anniversary edition. I do already have the dvd-video versions of both Dragon Lairs. I wonder if there is anything different or are they the same, maybe just the 20th anniversay one is in a slip cover box. Anyway on Thayer's Quest how would I be able to get it to work in Daphne. I wouldn't want to put the DVD in each time to play. Is there a way I can put the video files or the DVD contents in its own folder and have Daphne find it to play? |

Okay thanks for the reply. So you are saying put the DVD in the drive once. So how do I get Daphne to play this game. Then from then on out when I don't have the DVD in the drive anymore how will Daphne play it. See I have an Arcade Cab and using a front end Mamewah to run my games. So first I need to get Daphne running, but when I do how do I get Thayer's Quest to where it always loads up where I don't have to have a DVD in the drive. My cab has no DVD drive. I was going to run these on my other computer first and transfer the files to the Arcade Cab. |
