Yeap, I could have SWORN when I saw DL for the 1st time in the arcades, that it had the drawbridge scene (I live in the U.S.). When I found out that the U.S. version skipped it, I was surprised. But then I never really played it until it came out for home consoles so I probably just reemembered seeing it from them. Luckily Daphne supports enhanced roms that let you play it :D I still wish I could understand the logic behind them skipping that scene for U.S. customers.

alright, I am going to bite and ask this. Is there anyway to turn on hints for dragons lair1 2 & Space ace I am using the 20th anniversary collectors edition DVD's

I dont think so in either DL1 or SA but i think you can go into the service mode of DL2 and turn them on.

That's somewhat correct. If you go into the service mode in DL2, you can change the difficulty to 0 (zero) and it will display the moves you're supposed to make as you go through the level. This only works on level 1, after that you're on your own. And not all revisions support this (I know Rev 3.19 does). To access the service mode, you have to hold down 9 (Service) and press the sword button during the attract sequence.

3.19 is the *only* revision that does, and it was never officially released to arcades.
