OK, i admit it,
i couldn't cope with space ace :o(
(i was more of a DL adict)

it's twenty years later, i've bought all of digital leisure so called 'arcade perfect' software releases over the years.

.. and we have to wait until 2001 for a 'FREE' home mase version, thank God for Mat and Daphne dev team!!

a SA operation question....

insert coin then what?

what's with all of that beep, beep, beep..ing before play starts?
(is that just a Daphne thing?)

where does the cadet, captain and ace selection come into it?

could you change levels during gameplay?

how many buttons did the arcade machine have?
joystick, fire, p1 start, p2 start, ???

obiwan you are my only hope!

tia,

GaRy:O?

Please try reading the documentation and the other posts a bit harder.

Here are the steps:

Insert coin(s) with "5".
Press "1" for a 1-player game (or "2" for 2-players).
During the "beep beep" cycle, you select your level with the keys at the top of the num-pad:

Gray "/" = Cadet
Gray "*" = Captain
Gray "-" = Space Ace.

You cannot change the level once you start the game. Also note that if you chose a 2-player game, then both players will play at the same selected level.

Arcade Buttons and Controls:

(1) Player 1 Button
(1) Player 2 Button
(1) 4-direction joystick
(1) "Energize" (action) button
(3) Labled buttons for selecting each of the game modes
(2) Coin slots
