I have seen the DVDs of these 2 great games on EBay, and while searching for info, i stumbled on this great site.
Is there a great difference between the 2 formats ?

The question is still vague, because there are also multiple DVDs.

However, I think I get the point.

You can't beat having the original laserdisc, but the PC/DVD-ROM is an excellent "capture" of each of the main scenes from the laserdisc.

For technical reasons, Digital Leisure broke the LD video stream into multiple files, which has it's advantages and disadvantages. The PC/DVD-ROM "quality" is excellent as each VOB file is clear, and has excellent sound.

When using a program like Daphne, obviously owning the LD set is "arcade perfect", complete with seek delays and crystal clear LD analog (heh) output -- but owning the DVD-ROM and running the right external tools, like DVD2DAPH 2.0 is an EXCELLENT compromise that delivers amazing quality and performance.
