DVD Roms

Are all DVD Roms the same format?
I come from Australia and we are on the PAL system so if i purchase DL/SA/DL2 on DVD Rom will i be able to use the movie files with DAPHNE?

Just to update everyone.
I have spoken to Digitalleisure and all DVD ROMS are in NTSC. So the movie file should be great.
