Space Ace Enhanced!

HI there from Italy!

I did a "search" on this forum before posting this, I hope you've not discussed about this already....

The people at www.d-l-p.com have just released a new rom set for Space Ace. It seems it's the counterpart of the Dragon's Lair Enhanced Set... I've already downloaded this rom set, and when I'll get back home tonight I'll try to swap these roms with the original ones I'm using with Daphne, and see if it works :)

If, like I fear, they don't work... how much time would it take to make Daphne work with this new rom set?

support for SAE will be included in the next version of daphne (which has no release date).

However, you can get the latest CVS snapshot here which you can play it in.

It's an unofficial build, though, so remember that when asking for help for it, and always check daphne_log.txt.

BTW, SAE works just fine here for me.

You should always check daphne_log.txt regardless.

Actually people are not supposed to ask for help with the CVS version. The agreement is ... the CVS source code is open to the public as long as people don't ask for help getting it to work. If too many people ask us for help we'll have no choice but to make it private

I just happened to check back daphne-emu.com , and I couldn't imagine that I would have found new messages under the topic I started... also, I expected to receive e-mails when new messages were posted here, maybe I misconfigured something.

I have a question, what is the move in SAE when Ace has one green dog aproaching from left and other aproaching from right...
How can I set the game to do like the hard level of SA that if you die the scene start from beginning?

1) If I remember correctly, you have to move up, since he's lifting both his arms at that moment.
2) You simply change the difficulty level in the DaphneLoader

Prima di tutto devi convertire i dvdrom in qualcosa di usabile da Daphne. Per farlo devi usare un utility che si chiama DVD2Daph, puoi scaricarla da qui http://www.laserarchive.com/dvd2daph , poi dovresti leggere la documentazione o almeno le faq, le puoi trovare qui,

Scusa se non ti aiuto di piu ma è un po lunga da spiegare in forum, sopratutto quando esiste un ottima documentazione.
Se dopo aver letto la documentazione e le faq non riesci a risolvere qualche problema puoi postare qualche altra domanda.
Un ultima cosa, cerca di scrivere in inglese anche se non corretto e con errori è la lingua principale del forum quindi puoi trovare molti più aiuti che non con la sola lingua italiana.
