Woohoo I got Daphne up and running with Space Ace on a Sony Lasermax LDP-2000 and it runs like a champ. Only problem I had was getting my COM Ports sorted out. The LDP Test didn't want to work but after an hour or so of troubleshooting I got it to work fine. When Space Ace fired up for the first time it almost brought a tear to my eye. I've had the SA disc for a while but never had a LD Player to try it on. Thanks again for creating this fine Emulator! Now if my Dragon's Lair LD would get here....

Cool! I'm always happy to hear about satisfied DAPHNE users =]. Glad to hear you were able to play Space Ace again =]. There's nothing like hearing the benevolent BEEP sound effect while you are making your moves.

Is there any way I can change that beep to another sound? It sounds like it comes from the PC speaker, but I kind of want to put an Ultralisk sound in there instead.

P.S. Daphne is great, but I keep getting killed at that part with evil Dirk and I stink.

Hoody-Hoo! Me too!!!
That is, I've got Dragon's Lair fully functional. I've ripped my VLD1000 from my neighbors player, built my m2v/ogg files and have successfully gotten this to work.
Now, my next challenge, to compress it to work off a single CD.
I already have a box lined up for the installation and hope to have the artwork arrive within a week!
