Hi,
I'm Luciano from Italy and I have serious problems speaking english so please be patient.
I own Digital Leisure Dragon's Lair DVD-rom and I made a conversion using DVD2Daph utility.
Daphne seems to work very well with the game but I don't understand something in the framefile provided in DVD2Daph:
..........
14147 dls19b.vob.m2v
14229 dls20.vob.m2v
14232 dls20.vob.m2v
14575 dls20d1.vob.m2v
...........

Why does dls20.vob.m2v appears 2 times?
Why does the Underground River sequence appears between dls36 and dls38 sequence?
Why the last frame in the framefile doesn't match the seek test?
Sorry for all these questions, I read the FAQ all around but haven't found the response.

Bye
:o

most of the answers to your questions can be found here:

Duplicate entries in the framefile occur because sometimes different romsets seek to different frame numbers for the exact same scene. The duplicate entries make sure that the scene always starts at the beginning without cutting off any frames, no matter which romset you prefer. Sometimes there is also an additional entry which accurately marks the beginning of the scene whether or not a current romset uses it.

The underground river scene is listed twice because that's exactly how it was on the laserdisc. It was repeated for some unknown reason. However there is speculation that the original plan may have been for one of them to be reversed.

Don't worry, there are no known errors in that framefile...
