Can anyone help me with a framefile for Dragons Lair 2? Reading the documentation about seektest, it seems as though there is no constant for DL2 so I can't create my own. I'm pretty clueless about how to create one. My dl2.m2v file is exactly 1,718,717,520 bytes if that helps. Thx alot.

ahofle,

I checked out your Arcade Ambience project and I think it's awesome! My only suggestion is that you include Dragon's Lair in your 1983 sounds :)

It's still awesome, Ahofle. I use all three of them with 3dArcade, which really makes me feel like I'm back at the arcade.

How did you get them to work with 3D Arcade?

That's probably better a question left for the 3dArcade forum.

C'mon over there and ask me.

Hello everyone, new guy here.

So I got DL2 in the mail yesterday, and didn't have a clue on how to make the ogg and m2v files from the dvd video. I have a copy of an old daphne (1.0 Build 114 2002) and I got the rom file but I need the framefile. Now I installed the newer Daphne and found that it downloaded the files for me and set everything up, I just needed to insert my dvd disk. Fortunately I have a dvd drive (most new computers don't come with those now). All the files are there in the ogg and m2v format. When playing the game, it all works but I don't like the insert coin part. The previous Daphne I had, had the option to set for free play. So I either need to find out how to do free play on DL2 with the new Daphne or get the framefile for the older Daphne.

Help? If there is a solution will it work for DL1?

For DL2, access the menu options by pressing 9 + [sword] after you've launched the game. Press the sword button to advance through the menu until you get to Free Play and change it to ON. For DL1, click on Configure from the DaphneLoader & change the Coins per credit

You didn't have to give us the whole history of how you got the games & got Daphne running. Just letting us know you wanted help setting up free play would have been enough :P

Also, please in the future, just create a new post rather then resurrecting one that's almost 12 years old
